   Teri asked me to paint a painting for her daughter's birthday this month.  The painting was inspired by a photo that Teri took at Bald Head Island in the early 90's.  The composition and subject matter is her son Ian and her daughter Hawley leaning on an old piece of driftwood with the ocean in the background.  Reminds me of my childhood days at the beach, dreaming, playing and really believing that I had no care in the world.
Here's to you Hawley, I hope you had a wonderful birthday.......what a lovely young lady you turned out to be!
