As a reward to myself for graduating college, my friends and I toured Venice. I fell in love with Venice the moment I arrived. My friends and I would hang out at cafes along the canals, sip wine, do a little sketching, and make plans for our future. I remember the colors the sunshine made on the sparkling cerulean blue water. One of my favorite memories was watching the couples as they passed by in gondolas, the gondolier would sing so romantically as the pair would embrace each other. The stroke of the gondolier's oar would make a sweet lapping sound along the hull of the gondola. As I close my eyes, I am taken away again..............Oh my, it's close to Valentine's Day and I was dreaming again. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!
