Today is my mother-in-law's birthday, she is 81 years young.  This painting titled "Laura's Hymn" is inspired by her favorite hymn "How Great Thou Art".

 "Star" is the first mermaid that I have painted on a pillow.  She is surrounded by three lucky starfish on a beautiful soft aqua background.  Smellie Bloomers, a local gift shop is carrying some of my artwork.  You will find "Star" among paintings, prints and other pillows I've painted.
Wouldn't this make a lovely gift for your daughter, niece or friend as they go back to college?
